Yeh thanks for letting us know.. I was kinda waiting for it because I'd seen similar comments in the release log - I was hoping it was isolated to the individual reporting it.
yeh, i jumped on during that period, ping wasnt wack, no lag at start of race (altho the dl'ing of resources was a tad slower than usual) but yeh, im as surprised as you, i was expecting everyone/thing to be a lagfest.
GG on having an awesome net connection. (no, seriously tho, our limit is 15Gb/month - yours was something ludicrous in the realm of 100gb..... <- that shit does not happen here in NZ. not for the amount you pay for it - lucky bugger)

thanks, yeah its good fun! It is a chinese no-name bike though (but reasonable quality parts for its type). If I was doing it over.. or if I got another one I'd get an entry level quality mountain bike with disc brakes, and fit a crystalyte electric hub kit to it, like from these guys: http://www.e-mtb.com.au/ In fact I notice they use TREK bikes like Niks on their web page, evidently important to get one with a frame you know will fir the electric kit, otherwise it all starts getting really hard.
