DRuG Server Thurday 22nd will see competition to determine who gets the final spot in the DRuG vs. RiP war on Friday. Last Man Standing and Manhunt rounds have been suggested. Battle time is set for 9pm Melbourne Time.

DRuGDome 1.1 has been released, along with an upgrade build. This update should be the last in this series and polishes it off nicely I think. Work will now commence in 3D Studio Max on DRuGDome 2.

I am test driving the MTA linux server on my cable link, since I have stacks of bandwidth to spare this month, and we have a war on with RIP, so it can be locked down at the time for that use.

If it turns out that only a small amount of my monthly allowance is used by it, it will remain up indefinitely. I assume long term this will allow me to gain experience running server side maps, should things progress in that direction.

The server has been added with a dynamically changing address field in the left panel, though I do not expect the IP to change often - if it does, I'll give it a name, and problem solved.

Thanks to the fine work of SpngBb and Trix, we also have scripted 'bots running on the server, which will count the scores of each team realtime during wars, quoting live tallies of who's winning. The scripts also allow for special game modes to be invoked, like manhunt, and were obtained from the main MTA site & modified to suit da DRuG - thanks guys!

So let us know what you think and use this new thread on the forums (link defunct) for any DRuG server ideas you may have.

I've taken over hosting and admin. of the DRuG website, respectfully due to SpngBb having a life.

While I, too have a life, a great deal of it is spent nerding, so I should be able to edit roughly 5 nights out of every 7. Email me if you spot links on SpngBb's iprimus domain.

[DRuG]Alco has kindly cracked MTA 0.3 so that DrugDome can continue. The fix can be found in the MTA related downloads section.

I will be on holidays for approx. 2 weeks. I will be back around Dec. 18. I have already held preliminary talks with SWAT, SYK and VcT, and they are all willing to battle [DRuG] in the near future.

Remember, NikT will be running the whole show by himself until I get back. In the mean time, your voice will be in the forums, so please use them.

DRuGDOME is now being rebuilt in 3DSM to cater for quality, so v1 may be shipped out now, I'm not sure though. We are currently holding back sign-ups as well, as we feel we may be growing just a bit too big.

[DRuG] sign-ups are welcome, but please sign up through the clan leaders only. DRuGDOME is the official mod of [DRuG], a basic overview can be found here (link defunct).

I will be on holiday as of the weekend, so for approximately 2 weeks, NikT will be running the whole clan by himself.
