NikT moving in 65 days 8( edit: !!ADSL FINALLY BACK!!

Just got notice I'll be moving house in just over 2 months..

Learnt a lesson from this.. before u rent a place, make sure there isn't building/works planned in the area - it may just be that the owners have chosen to move out for the duration of the works, then back in again at their conclusion - this is the second house in a row I've fallen victim to this bullshit.. be careful.

Since everything DRuG is now hosted on a dedicated server remote to my house, this wont affect any of you.. I will be on a 42mb 4G link when my ADSL cuts out, which is more than fast enough.. and should have adsl again pretty soon after I move.

For those with access to my house hunting area of the forums, sadly, it's about to get busy in there again.

After 2 trips out to the house, I finally got a good Telstra tech... first one had patched the wrong port.

My ADSL is back online.. for those of you outside Australia... check out our blistering speeds (sarcasm):
ADSL2+ synched at:
DownStream Connection Speed 9189 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 931 kbps

I dropped the business account since all DRuG's servers are now hosted in a data centre, so I'm not synching at ADSL2M any more, this connection is more stable using the Netgear rather than the Billion modem (only the billion supports ADSL2M) Still, for Australia that's pretty good.
