MTADM server going to be offline for up to 7 days

After much consideration, rather than attempting to overlap internet with the new place, I have decided to take the mtadm server offline for a week - just move it to the new house now, and wait for the internet to come online.

In the short term I may set up a bridge from an unlocked wireless in the area, and just serve from there until mine comes online - but we'll see - it may not really be that easy forwarding ports etc when it isn't my router. Most people use the race/teamspeak/linux shell server anyway, and that will be remaining online such that I can use the link still.

The main benefit of the downtime will be in my personal arrangements, with the cost being no mtadm server - but I don't think people are really gonna miss it - things are quiet in terms of it's use lately, anyway.

I'll still be online, but using gsm/wireless in the short term, as I am moving my bed to the new place tonight.

*edit* The MTA Race server statistics/admin scripts will also be potentially offline for this period.. more news to come.

OK, today I moved the MTADM server to the new house... still haven't even had a chance to investigate the phone line/ADSL - I am just about to go to New Zealand for a week for work, so I have not only been juggling moving house, cleaning up the old place, but also, arranging a new passport, sorting a stack of financial shtuffs, and in the between time, trying to REEELAAAAXXX

So yeh - mayyybe expect a little longer downtime than initially expected.. but we will return with awesome linkage.

As you may have noticed, I have taken the Teamspeak/Shell/MTA Race/SAMP server offline, leaving us with the new web server remaining - our only current online server.

This will be for approximately 2-3 weeks, as I am about to go overseas for a week, then I expect it will take me about 2 weeks to get the ADSL2+ online.. at which point, things should return to normal pretty quickly.. I'll keep you posted in the drugcrew.com comments section and here, as news emerges.
