Log-on as 'root'.

At the command line, enter:
linuxconf- 3 -
Select 'Config'.

Select 'User Accounts'.
- 5 -
Select 'Normal'.
- 6 -
Select 'User Accounts'.
- 7 -
Select the 'Add' button.
- 8 -
Select 'Base info'.
- 9 -
Enter the new user's login name and full name.
- 10 -
Select the 'Quit' button.
- 11 -
Select 'Privileges' and take a quick look, but don't change anything (unless you have a fair idea of what you're doing).

Return to the 'User account creation' box, by repeatedly selecting the 'Quit' button.
- 13 -
Select the 'Accept' button.
- 14 -
Enter the new user's password.
- 15 -
Select the 'Accept' button.
- 16 -
Re-enter password for verification.
- 17 -
Select the 'Accept' button again.
- 18 -
Keep selecting the 'Quit' button, until you are asked if you want to activate the changes.
- 19 -
Select 'Activate the changes'.
- 20 -
At the command line, enter:
logout...or:
exitNote
You may have to enter 'logout' or 'exit' twice.

Log-on as the newly created user!
