So as you can probably tell from the dates of our news posts, we don't really update our root website much... But we are still very active... both on the web and in the gaming scene.

Web interaction with the DRuG crew is best obtained at http://forums.drugcrew.com.

In game? Well these days DRuG are active all over the place - we have members playing Diablo III, Minecraft, WoW (but not me.. oh god), MTA San Andreas (on Mr Greens, SiK, ALW and other purist racing servers), SA-MP (the final deathmatch servers found globally are ours) and many others.

In the mod development scene, we are most visible - many of DRuG's core members are involved in a project called Just Cause 2 Multiplayer - [DRuG]Trix, one of our coleaders, is the founder of this project. They and many other members of the crew can be found on IRC in the server irc.jc-mp.com, channel jc2-mp. JC-MP has been getting as many as 2000 people in game during the open beta weekends they've held recently. With race, derby & deathmatch modes via lua scripting already introduced, it is shaping up to be the next big thing.

This site really just serves as a central placeholder for DRuG's other web based resources - we strongly recommend you visit our forums and have a chat with the crew - let us know what you've been playing and "where the fun is".

Thanks for dropping by and Welkom 2 da DRuG

Happy Birthday Me & DRuG's 9th Anniversary

This year with DRuG has seen many changes to the GTA online gaming landscape. We now have a co-branded MTA server in the USA with AGS, also providing dedicated resource serving to the DRuG MTA.

Focus has remained on GTA San Andreas' multiplayer frameworks, MTA and SAMP. The crew have been experimenting with GTAIV Multiplayer, but at this stage things are still pretty beta in that department. Many other games have also had their times, but as with other years, it seems we all still gravitate back to the GTA multiplayer variants.. they offer so much potential.

With the full support of http resource synch now a reality, DRuG have introduced over 300 new maps with custom models and vehicles. Transfer speeds are now that of our web servers meaning most resources are already downloaded by the time the races start. Given the GTA series of games have so many mods and vehicles out there to install, this has spelt major changes to the universe of GTA online gameplay.

Through the help of [DRuG]Full_Metal, we've also assembled over 500 classic race maps on our MTA servers, bringing the total map count to over 1500.

My skillz in php and sql have evolved this year, where I've worked a bit on extracting a race ladder with lots of statistics from mta's live database. The result, when combined with data registered there by -]alw[-AcidbRain's lua statistics resources, has been a live ladder page now available for all DRuG hosted servers (DRuG, AGS). I have uploaded the resource to community.mtasa.com - you can see a preview of it there.

Killfrenzy, Mouldy and sk0t have continued to expand and develop the AGS community and servers, now hosting Final Deathmatch SAMP servers in UK, USA and Australia.. many clans - both racing and deathmatch, call these servers home, with dm and race mini-modes supporting statistics in game and on the web, the Final Deathmatch network has really proven to keep SAMP interesting. Thanks for all your hard work Killfrenzy, Mouldy, sk0t and all the brilliant mappers, admins and coders responsible for keeping the community fun.

We have spent time this year interacting, racing and working more with our allies in other clans including MgC, SKC, -]alw[-, ]DR[, SiK and many others... it's great to see the online clanning community evolve into something less fleeting than I've seen in the past.

This year has brought us new members Full_Metal, Ryant, Killer57, Rex, Jumpman, Comatose, JabbaTheSlut & Dingleman. As always, they have all proved great additions to the crew.. again, welcome aboard guys.

Our most recent addition, Dingleman, originates from AGS's samp server, but now spends a fair amount of time in MTA. His experience in making player models, maps and so on have already benefited us with a bunch of new custom model maps on our MTA.. complete with giant statues of both myself and Dingle.. mate, it's great having you aboard, and I look forward to developing some maps with you in the future.

AGS and DRuG now share servers for a lot of things and I've worked closely with them over the last twelve months developing all sorts of exciting stuff on their forums, including server management, setting up a radio stream and server statistics pages.. working together has given both AGS and DRuG a lot more resources to provide the great community we have today.

HAPPY 9th BIRTHDAY DRuG!!!

Welcome JabbaTheSlut, New MTA & SAMP released

With the recent release of MTA 1.0.4, support of external HTTP resource servers is now operational. This spells huge things for the MTA online scene.. SKC have responded with a server containing maps with external models, replacement vehicle models and other large resources, which now transfer super fast. ALW also have a new game mode on their MTA server, custom written to include a ladder with advanced stats - done in the true style of ALW, this mode is very addictive, as is working your way up their ladder. DRuG's server has been configured with a stack of new maps -- everything off community.mtasa.com - I've optimized those that include unusually large resources, such that we are able to have maps like the mariokart one, but without having to wait for 4mb of music that inevitably gets muted anyway.

As far as SAMP goes, the new SAMP server has presented a lot of opportunities which the crew have been working hard to get the most out of - be sure to visit www.aussiegameserver.com & the AU, US and UK samp servers - they're mostly run by the DRuG crew, assembled around [DRuG]Killfrenzy's FDM mode.

JabbaTheSlut has been racing in MTA for as long as I can remember.. he's highly regarded internationally as a fast racer and has been an admin on DRuG's MTA for quite some time. I'm pleased to announce that he accepted our invitation to join DRuG last night - something I've been trying to get happening for a while.

Welcome to da DRuG JabbaTheSlut!!!!

3 new members, MTA 1.0.4 out!

With the release of MTA 1.0.4, support for external resource hosting is finally working 100% - we've enabled it on both the AGS and DRuG MTADM Race 1.0.4 servers.

File transfers in game now fly in, with the resources being hosted from the AGS web server, thanks to [DRuG]Mouldy and the AGS crew - the 5Gb per day of bandwidth used on my home link should be reduced as a result. As an added bonus, the speed of transferring resources in game from this new server is a lot faster, and leaves the game server free to concentrate on player synch.. less players are timing out which has resulted in lots more people joining 24/7.

With the scene very active both in SAMP and MTA, I felt it a good time to sign 3 new members.. I've also started trying to consider assigning roles to people as they join when it seems suitable, as a way for us to get the most out of our people's skills - if you see youself as filling or suitable to a particular role and wish to create a new one, please message me on the forums.

Killer57, Ryant and Full_Metal all come to us from the AGS SAMP server.. with Full_Metal originating from SiK as an MTA racer, he's also now more often found in SAMP.

It's great to have them all aboard - welcome guys!

With Full_Metal's connections in the scene and his experience in both SAMP and MTA, I have assigned him the role of Race Coordinator - over the coming months he's going to be arranging DRuG's contribution to the current ideas floating about in the scene with regards to race championships. If you are interested in being involved, please give him all the help you can.

Welcome 2 da DRuG Ryant, Killer57 and Full_Metal!!!!

First up, any applicants still awaiting a response, be aware that I have signed some people up after over 6 months.. and they aren't always in order..

We have 3 new members!

Comatose, the original founder of AGS, has been a long time regular in AGS's samp server (for some strange reason) - often found on our Teamspeak, he's a great person to be around and really already one of the crew - great to make it finally official.

Rex is another oldskool AGS player that's been chilling with us all for so long now that it's kinda embarassing that I never invited him aboard.. for that I'm sorry, Rex, and glad you're finally one of the team.. it'd be awesome to see you in Teamspeak more often.

Jumpman is one of the technical leads over at CJA - Australia's other big GTA community. In the past it's him I've dealt with while working on CJA's resources - MTA & phpBB.. I look forward to working more with him in the future & know he's going to be a great asset to us all.

For any of you that aren't yet fully versed on DRuG's 8 year history of modding GTA, if I do say so myself, they've been epic times - and it's all documented - all the way back to 2003 on http://drugcrew.com - as new members, I strongly recommend reading them all - it's the best way to see what we've done, learn about the skills of our members & find out where you fit in & can contriubute... not that there's any rule that you have to - many members have other roles/contributions they bring to the scene, and we certainly respect that.

In other news, a few weeks ago Mouldy was promoted to DRuG co-leader. With no power trippers in the DRuG crew, our main motivation when keeping an eye out for new co-leaders is to team up with people that share my full understanding of what DRuG is "about", and mirror the vibe that we put out there as DRuG's "personality"... do this successfully, and we manage to perpetuate DRuG's culture over time, remove any risk of our "personality" fading and ensure that the crew is represented well by their leaders. Mouldy, as many of you know, well, he's the definition of what I've described above - he's pretty much been doing the role for over two years, without any expectation of the title... Welcome buddy

Happy 8th Birthday DRuG

This past year has seen DRuG experiment with GTAIV - some interesting videos 1 2 were made by Capsinurass, pushing the physics engine to it's limits. Many DRuG members, including myself now own the game, I've even documented a mod which I intend to expand upon with a model replacement that introduces planes with true Rockstar made plane handling back to GTAIV - click here to read more about implementing plane handling in GTAIV.

Breaking my previous personal policy to not join other clans, this year I have become a member of both Aussie Game Server and Deathrow.. both clans are run by DRuG members and as such, I felt it good I endorse their great contributions to the Australian GTA scene with my membership.

DRuG's elevated participation in the samp scene this year saw us forge friendships with the huge clan community it has provided. With the introduction of us compiling MTA's nightly builds and hosting associated servers for both DRuG and AGS, we have been at the centre of MTADM game hosting in Australia leading up to the long awaited release of MTADM 1.0. With it's release, DRuG's resources were called upon by SanZor to set up his servers in Finland, the CJA and AGS servers in Australia, with a great deal of help provided to many over MSN, it's been great to be seen by the scene as someone to call upon.

With regards to the forums of Australia's 2 forefront communities, AGS and CJA, DRuG has provided help this year upgrading and moving databases, installing forum mods and configuring linux and windows game, ftp, web and other assorted servers.. these contributions are an honour for DRuG to be a part of - it's great to contribute to such a diverse community.

The GTA San Andreas online gaming scene now has the choice of SA-MP & MTA DM 1.0 (for both race and deathmatch) - MTA Race 1.1.x seems to be empty these days, with gamepad support in 1.0, even racing is popular there now.

We have members representing on every front, including so many disciplines now, it would take me an hour just to sit here and list them, so I'm just going to skim over this area, but damn we've grown to become such a skilled bunch - thanks to all of you.

With most DRuG members still very active, many, it should be noted, are primarily on MSN - the crew is as tight as ever - you may have noticed I've been spending more time on Teamspeak @ http://www.aussiegameserver.com, it should be noted that DRuG exist on many private Teamspeak and game servers as well.. this is really just the tip of the iceberg.

DRuG and an assortment of other clans have made this a regular site they visit, and for that, on behalf of DRuG, I thank you all.

On the front of modding I've started dabbling in lua and released an advancement of the colorlights mod by eXo|Speedy to incorporate better thread management and allow setting of the vehicles colour. Dabombber has released his advanced SAMP server management script, ALAR. Killfrenzy's FDM SAMP game mode scripts have grown and grown, with his nightly tweaking of them on AGS's SAMP server - so popular is this script that an entire community has assembled itself around them. There's so many more things going on, it's really hard to summarize - suffice to say, DRuG is still out there, doing what it does best - making GTA awesome.

<img src="http://nikt.zog.net.au/drugcrew/plugins/bb304/images/smilies/heart1.gif" alt="[<3]" title="[<3]"> THANKS & HAPPY BIRTHDAY DRUG! <img src="http://nikt.zog.net.au/drugcrew/plugins/bb304/images/smilies/heart1.gif" alt="[<3]" title="[<3]">

I am sure there's some kind of check I will eventually find to remove these errors, too.. but at this stage, it's still cleaner than it was.

It works between rounds, re-checking the player vehicle and re-applying the lights after map changes. All toggles work on each other, so /drug can disable /colour etc.

I have added support for daytime lights, using the lightsoverride function, also added randomizing car colours, like the lights, using /discocar.

Enjoy!

[DRuG]NikT

Victorian bushfires & how to help

IMPACT OF BUSHFIRES IN VICTORIA
By now most of you will be aware of the tragic circumstances that have evolved over the weekend as a result of the uncontrolled forest fires that have ravaged much of rural Victoria. Not only has there been unprecedented loss of life and property, but even people who have not been directly affected have been severely traumatised by the impact on family, colleagues and friends as detailed in the graphic news reports of these events. This comes after some weeks of severe heat, and disrupted transport and power services.

I would like to offer my personal condolences to anyone who has sustained personal loss in the tragedy, and urge that we work together to address the impact that the fires have had on our community. One example of how you can contribute, is to not make light of what, for many people, may involve the loss of a family member or home.

Monetary Donations
You can make a donation to the Bushfire Fund via credit card by visiting the Red Cross website or by phoning 1800 811 700. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Donations of Goods
The Red Cross is not requesting or accepting donations of goods at this time. The Federal Government is making funds available to the families and communities affected to enable them to purchase emergency supplies.

Volunteering
The Red Cross is compiling a list of people who have registered their interest to volunteer, however they are not yet in a position to utilise this list. We encourage people interested in volunteering to await further information before contacting any agencies.

Much respect to those who have already made donations, new information about ways to help will be posted as it comes to hand.

At this point, please join me in keeping in your thoughts the families and communities affected, as well as the emergency services and humanitarian agencies who are working hard to combat continuing bushfires and coordinate critical relief efforts.

I wrote a big year's summary message for Christmas, so I'm going to keep this one brief.

This year will see the development of DRuG within the GTAIV online scene, hopefully with many more exciting mods to come. At this stage, I have been playing single player GTAIV on PC, while saving my online play for xbox live, where I am able to get smoother online play. Unfortunately, as my current laptop is only just within the minimum specs, online pushes it over the edge - so I'm just gonna have to be patient for the money to emerge for an upgrade, likely to occur in the next 6 months.

It would be good to start a profile field on the forums where we all exchange Rockstar Social Club & Windows Live IDs - I will be looking into adding this over the coming month.

Thanks and best wishes to one & all for another fine year with DRuG.

Merry Christmas folks.

Not sure how many of you know, [DRuG]Elite and I moved into a share house a month or so ago. He's one of DRuG's oldskool and a co-leader.. With the same house, now, a lot of news relating to DRUG's servers and resources coming online really comes from both of us.. since most of it is hosted out of our place or one of our colo-serves.

We are up to the third technician visit on Monday to have Naked iinet set up.

Turns out on this one, there genuinely was a line fault - had to get Telstra out - always a nervy part, in case you're wrong - since they then charge you for the call-out (if you're wrong)..

Weird part is, I must have been paid to go onsite and help get about 20 ADSL lines up and running, the only one I have to actually follow through on a faulty line call is my own?!

They had everything ok on iinet's side.. but 100m away in the Telstra pit, we were patched to a faulty pair. On Monday when they put us on a new pair, apparently everything will go live straight away.

/me hopes.

iinet were very good on the service side of things, and their phone jockeys aren't idiots.

Merry Yaksmas everyone..

NikT

Happy 5th Birthday to DRuG & NikT

This past year has seen DRuG waiting out the gap to GTAIV - for a while there, we weren't even sure it was going to be released on PC. From the experience of the gap between Vice City and San Andreas, I can happily say that the clan scene evolved stronger this time around.

Alliances were formed between the newly emerged SiK MTA racing clan, out of the ashes of PHS - and I must say, they're a much more professional, fun crew to race with now than ever before.

The GTA San Andreas online gaming scene now has the choice of SA-MP & MTA DM for deathmatch and MTA Race 1.1.1 for racing with gamepad support. We have members representing on every front, including some that have contributed to the code in SA-MP. The shared view of most MTA racers has been not to use 1.1.2, but just to find servers on http://game-monitor.com - it's a stabler client in my view, too.

With most DRuG members still very active, but primarily on MSN, the crew is as tight as ever - those that have missed the shift of focus to forums rather than Teamspeak, I encourage you to check things out at http://forums.drugcrew.com - many members from DRuG and an assortment of other clans have made this a regular site they visit, and for that, on behalf of DRuG, I thank you all.

In an effort to bring the scene together a bit, by making people aware of the other communities out there, one of my main projects also came into being this year. Using all the latest web 2.0 trickery, the site allows you to view the posts on forums and news blogs for all the key sites in the scene. But what really gives it an edge is, it arranges them into a layout similar to an email client, allowing you to monitor all the latest posts and even reply using your own login. Check it out now at http://planet.drugcrew.com.

On the front of modding, [DRuG]Slick's San Andreas Performance Tool has continued to be updated, and proved to be a very popular item in our release list - thanks again for your fine work, [DRuG]Slick.

I am so proud to be at the helm of such a talented crew of gamers, it defies words - thanks again... this includes those of you that game, those of you that chat, those of you that mod, even those who aren't always active (this aint a job & we respect you having a life) - the whole crew - happy birthday peoples.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DRUG!!!!

(It's also my birthday - yes - we were formed on my birthday)

And after seeing them, I reckon more people will be able to play it than I suspected.

* OS: Windows XP SP2
* Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
* RAM: 2GB
* Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space
* Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader
* Drive: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive

Not too bad to be honest, Rockstar probably lowered the specs needed to allow more PC gamers to be able to play it - and not just the hardcore group.

This is a project I've been messing about with for quite some time.

My vision was to create a web site based news reader where you can view news from any site or forums involved in the GTA scene - like a 'one stop shop' for GTA news.

At first I had experimented with planet, a GNU script designed to compile news from rss into a date arranged news site. As time went on, I tried a few others, and found that it was much easier to navigate, if the site was arranged more carefully -- much like a mail reader. Thus the introduction of the Spry news reader by Adobe. Using Air, their latest webtek, it's also a bit of a curiosity on the front of Web 2.0 design - pages are preloaded and displayed within it much like any web 2.0 application.

I hope you find it as smooth as I have.

The site can be reached at http://planet.drugcrew.com. It is also now in the left margin here and also just above the RSS news ticker on the forums, labeled and linked as follows:
>> Launch Spry RSS Reader <<

If your GTA related news is not included on our planet, or a source that you prefer, please, email nikt@drugcrew.com or send me a message on the forums - it's very easy to add more, all I need is an RSS/xml feed.

SAPT 3.3: San Andreas Performance Tool

Released a few days ago now on our forums, Slick does it again with an updated version of his San Andreas Performance Tool (SAPT).

SAPT is a trainer like program allowing you to tweak some important performance related settings whilst running the game. To improve quality of gameplay, particularly on older systems or to help max out on higher end machines.

Two separate versions are included in the update, for single player or multiplayer. The only difference between the two is the 30 fps frame limiter lock being disabled on the multiplayer version. This prevents any speed advantages over regular players without SAPT in MTA... Any attempts on using the single player version on multiplayer mods will most likely result in a kick!

This is intended as a friendly tool to help those with less powerful systems play San Andreas comfortably... please try and share our desires to make GTA better for everyone.

NOTE: SAPT only works with version 1.0 of San Andreas! Some anti-virus/spyware programs may detect the programs hotkeys dll as a keylogger, it is in fact nothing of the sort.

DOWNLOAD NOW

SAPT: San Andreas Performance Tool 3.3

Awesome work again, Slick - more great follow-ups to user demands!
Thanks to a heads-up from [DRuG]Smallo, I have just updated the race resource to the latest version.

Spectator seems to be improved, but it also does seem to do the odd weird thing I can't quite put my finger on. As a result I've just set up linux on a 1Ghz machine to see if this improves things, but it may just be because this is just a developer preview release, and has some issues.

Progress images of the desktop where I built the linux server - the top set are downloading and burning it, the bottom set are the new linux Xwindows desktop being fine tuned....

I have updated all the MTA:DM race images to use the DRuG font and my personal blend of DRuG colours.

Well, after several hours of fiddling, we now have an MTA:DM server with no buggy race maps.

It was my intention to run an mta:dm race mode server, primarily, as I feel it takes best advantage of the replacement cars pack I want to optimize & have cover more (compact) vehicles.

This was a bit hard to implement, when half the races just got stuck on a black screen. With this issue now resolved, we have a total of 281 race maps.

Although I am leaving the other modes on, I would prefer to see the server left in race mode - there's plenty of good DM servers out there, and really, I'd rather see people playing SAMP for DM.

What are others' opinions of DM in samp vs mta?

Remember, if you don't have access to comment, please post a request for an account at this thread on the DRuG forums.

Well it's that time folks..

quote (MTA dev team):

We're happy to announce a preview release of MTA:SA Deathmatch as a good start to the new year. As a new years resolution, we've decided to try much more frequent releases. We've said this before, but we've finally got a solid base to work from and we're in a good position where you - the community - can give us valuable input.

Now this, I will believe when I see, but sounds like very good news if they stay true to it. MTA, as many of you may know, are a little slow on the old release. Head on over to the MTA:DM gangs register, and join the [DRuG] group (assuming you're a member or you'll just be removed).

With regards to setting up a DRuG server, I have an idea I would like to see discussed on the forums.. Currently I pay > $200 a year to keep all of DRuG's names and servers online... but we still don't have a decent professional server on which we can host games. I think it would be good if a group of us chipped in and got a server, possibly locally hosted in Australia... for use as an MTA race/DM/SAMP server... teamspeak could stay on my link since it's not used all the time.. but this would mean nice, low pings in Australia & the ability to have > 12 players in game with no lag.

If you're interested, please make a post @ http://forums.drugcrew.com - I don't wanna put a paypal donate icon up... I kinda hate advertising, but with the introduction of MTA:DM, I think adding another server to my home link is not the ultimate direction, though I'm not apposed to it.

In other news, I've spent the last week or so polishing the site... details on all the improvements can be found on the forums - click here to read that post now.

See you in MTA:DM folks - I'll be on fearedgamers.net if not ours - 75.126.213.122:22003 - they have a DM server up & running... for ours, I suggest we wait a few days and get a better idea of what we want... at this stage it's running a pretty default config with a focus on racing.

Well, it's been another busy year at DRuG.

For the first year in a while the majority of mods released by the crew were all from relatively new members. This is a fantastic indicator that we're growing at the right pace and the people selected are well suited to the crew and what we do.

Teamspeak this year has had it's busy & it's quiet moments, with many members alternating off to servers devoted to WoW & other games they've branched off to, but it was great to see a lot of the oldschool crew spend a fair portion of their time @ DRuG.

This year also saw the introduction of forums.. until this year, DRuG members had been encouraged to sign up at gtaforums and other communities around the scene, to get our name out there. Speaking for myself, I've found the move to our own space has resulted in a much friendlier group of people to share with. I look forward to advancing our activity in this area to include more of the GTA scene - it would be great to share our friendly vibe with others.

MTA and SAMP now both have very solid followings, this has had an incredible effect on the scene, I find racing a lot more fun without the majority of people around me wanting a fight... where I'm sure the FPS/DM players are just as happy to be rid of the stunters and other krazy vehicles interfering with their battles.

GTAIV - well, I still don't see anything, anywhere, confirming planes will be in game, nor multi-player PC action... only mention so far, has been of consoles.

Though this is not much different to the times of Vice City, where rumours of SA were all concerning details of the PC game, not if it would exist, but how. If anyone can confirm any PC based GTAIV planning @ Rockstar, please let me know.

I can't wait to take on this new year, with all the new clans that I've been grouping on our forums, this year I expect to develop my agregated "Clan World" site, using the powers of RSS.

Thanks for being an awesome crew for yet another year folks.

Great having you all among us - we've certainly been associating since day 1, so it's great to have the crews together... welcome guys!

Flongdong has been chilling with the crew, in the GTA servers, and I see he joined the forums the other day.. thanks for coming on board mate - hope to speak soon.

Welkom 2 da DRuG [alr] & Flongdong

Now to put your banner in the left margin...

In other news, though always available internally to DRuG members, the final version of our Vice City trainer, Big Monkey, was never released. It added support for live handling changes - if you alt/tab from game, you can do things like change the weight and ID for a car, then go back in and fly away in your car, which you have changed to a helicopter's handling - you may need to use the built in gravity adjustments to allow the spinning roof of the car to lift you into the air.. this is just one example of the madness this makes possible in Vice City.

Big Monkey 1.42 - now available to the general public.. Enjoy.

DOWNLOAD NOW:

DRuG BigMonkey Vice City Trainer 1.42

Code:
[DRuG]SniperX
[DRuG]Trix

Skin:
[DRuG]NikT

Many unique features including:
In-game hotkeys (can be disabled)
Live gravity adjustment
Multi-speed, Multi-mode jetpack
Teleport system with memory presets
Live handling adjustment
In game speed and car health meters
Wallride
Instant brake and Nos Boost
Much, much more

DRuG it up ppls!!!

Oh!

After a lot of fiddling to edit changes in syntax adopted by RC7, our custom themes are now working in RC7... this was no small feat... every use of /form had to be preceded with S_FORM_TOKEN, and all uses of username and password had to be updated to their new syntax.

I may have missed something - please - if you see even the slightest error reported from phpBB, private message it to me or pop it on the forums.. it won't be much trouble to fix, so long as we find the errors... some may only appear under a user but not admin logon, so your help would be appreciated.

Welcome 2 da DRuG 2GOOD & Downloads!!!

It is with great pleasure that I introduce our first new member in a while, 2GOOD.

2GOOD has been racing on fearedgamers, PHS & our servers for a few years now - apologies for not having you on board sooner.

Welcome 2 da DRuG mate!

**edit to include an afterthought**

It has also become the time when most are starting to explore subsitute vehicles, while not modifying their handling... peepz spicing up their game a bit as San gets older.. DRuG have seen these times before.. with many new clans around, I've been getting to know a lot of cool new people.. but one thing has begun to distress me out of it... soo many people that know DRuG have no idea that we've made so many tools and vehicles for the GTA series.. especially San and Vice. Please people, check our downloads sections... everything there is pretty much made by DRuG members... and all of it is pretty original. I take a lot of time getting to know what the other clans have been up to & what you do... I invite you all to seriously check out some of our toyz... I know you'll be rewarded.

New MTA admin levels & !updateraces

The default top server admin levels & roles have just been adjusted to 2 to accomodate a new admin trigger - !updaterace - you may need to relogon using rcon for the server to see you as a 2.

Using !updateraces then !lostmaps may show a higher number of maps - give it a minute, try again.. a few times and it usually gets them all.

It's because we now have 441 maps, and the working limit is around 300. A mod to the scripts and this new trigger allows it to find newly uploaded maps... eventually.

Thanks [PHS]Dan[AU] for the pointer to the fix.
