Well this one took a bit of crafting, but we now have a gallery block for the portal...

Ajax Userinfo mod for phpBB3 by Tobi Schaefer

This one shows more info on a user when you mouse over their name.

Enjoy.

And we now have a WYSIWYG editor.. hopefully it works - this is the test post.

Managed to finally get the style sheets/link colours ok, they still aren't perfect - it'll do for now.

Enjoy folks. :geek:

Not sure about you lot, but I certainly didn't "enjoy".. this mod is now disabled.. every time I scrolled through the forums I was left dragging someone's details about the screen.. sheesh. :x

It's tricky applying changes to this one due to it's output being very php/code condition based - tonight I managed to get the toolbars right.. the forth right drop down box has the ability to include extra functions - I may populate it later, but at this stage see little use for it, so it's now disabled.

Yeh you can... COZ YOU CAN SEE THAT IT'S TYPING IN BOLD (being wysiwyg) - tip - ctrl-b is bold, ctrl-i is italic.. same key toggles on and off.

Also depends on the manner in which it is used - many do their formatting after writing the message, by highlighting the section and then pressing the formatting button.

Just updated from phpbb 3.0.4 full install to 3.0.5 using the auto upgrade path.

Worked well, except for some initial errors with editing large posts.

Seems more memory is used by phpbb now, pushing us past 16Mb, which tripped off an error stemming from the OTF gallery mod, which had a hard limit set on php's allocated memory to 16Mb.

Thanks to the help of zog, our root admin, I've learnt the use of grep in recursive mode, to search a path's php files for the memory limit variable, such that I was able to quickly locate which file was causing the problem.

All phixed. :ugeek:
