Sooo.... SA-MP is dead?

Can someone shed light? I only just started getting back into SA-MP :/

So that means no matter what they do, as long as people maintain their servers, the game can still go on?

We'll just have to function without the "official" servers list and eventually the Internet list? I see it getting patched to take our own feeds <3
