Hey,
Not sure why, but server has gone uncontactable...everything seems right in the toolbox on iinet, must be some internal error on their end... more info as it emerges.

Well it has to be inside iinet itself, as the server was still in the same state with same uptime when it eventually came back online. The same thing happened a few nights later, so I suspect they were working on the network... haven't checked the maintenance pages tho - too much like what I do for work. 
Given that iinet just bought internode, maybe they are doing some work relating to that.
