Back from the old days

Hello everyone,

it's been almost 5 years since I played MTA, but yesterday I decided to install it again. I used to be around from 0.2 till mta:sa, but since I had no love for San Andreas, I stopped playing MTA.

In my days, I coded a bot of which I'm still extremely proud, called MTA:Brown (and it's stil in the downloads-section, so nice to see it after all this time, I lost all the code for it I think). I was in the [DRuG] clan as UnderW or MrBrown, I can't remember which one.

So, now I'm wondering, is MTA still alive? And I'm talking about 0.5 for Vice City.

It's good to be in Vice City again, and I hope there's still some people from that time around, like NikT.

Yeh dude! WELCOME BACK!!!

DRuG has an open door policy, so as far as I'm concerned, you're still a member.

[DRuG]Killfrenzy and [DRuG]Mouldy coordinate, develop and host scripts for the very popular SAMP server "www.aussiegameserver.com" - we have a teamspeak server also on that domain, where you will usually find a few DRuG members present.

and thanks for letting me back in!

I don't have San Andreas installed atm, only Vice City, but I will work on that next week and then I'll drop by in the server.

It's so nice that this clan is still alive after all these years. No doubt we have NikT to thank for that, thanks man!

PS: if anyone is up for a game of MTA:VC 0.5, I know only one server that's always up, but it's the roleplay server from game-monitor... Does the [DruG]-server for 0.5 still run? I can't find the IP...

I would but it would involve me reinstalling & I gotsta work tomorrow - it's getting late.

Yeh get San Andreas - stacks of people in race, DM, you can even have your cake and eat it too in AGS's SAMP server - [DRuG]Killfrenzy has developed a framework with minimodes and stacks of races, complete with heavily fought-for records. MTA-DM also has both DM and race servers.. where the prior release was purely race.. we run an MTA DM 1.0 Race mode server which I can often be found on, but hey - there's stacks of servers to check out - get GTASA!!!

i am not a DRuG member, but i have been around on the forums for some time, i am formely an ex Speed is King member, a clan which NikT helped bring together, ill have to come look for you ingame when your on next
