is it possible to get 2 SA:MP scripts that will do this

  • grid positions
  • teams

the grid positions is so when someone wins a race, what ever position they get is where they start at, something like what SKC are using but for SA:MP

Teams, so we can actually have team races, i think it could be more of a challenge, and way more fun

i would attempt it, but i have no idea how to script, and wouldnt know where to start

from where tho, ive looked around and cant find anything, and i cant script

ive asked slick a few times, and he dosnt seem interested

You have? :O Sorry I am forgetful! So basically you need a racing mode, with support for multiple maps, grid positions, how do teams work? Just assign players into colored groups? Or like 1 team member does one part and the other team member does the next? That could cause problems in the future if you have team members ditching or quitting/timing out etc.

yea, i have, and so did sk0t after i did

the teams would be coloured teams, so it shows the who they are as a group, and if someone times out, the rest of the team is still there

kk.. that's funny because I was talking to sk0t last week or something about how excited I was and I don't remember him mentioning that [SUSS] lol kk anything else you need with that?

besides a grid system, im not sure what else would be needed or could be added to make this more interesting

what gm should be used for this in your opinion

you could have that for every car in a clan, its that colour.

eg

ingame theses names are white due to the gang.
for racing if the player in the gang(clan) is white the colour of the car is white.

I've just set up the racewar resource on the DRuG MTA server..



You might want to check out it's suitability for rounds in a team based race tournament.
