Cool Looking case/PC mods

Postby [DRuG]NikT on Fri Sep 28, 2007 3:40 pm

Another cool thread idea - there's millions of PCs out there that have been built with really different approaches... here's a thread where you can post the more interesting ones you've seen...

To kick it off, here's a wooden one:

in Firefox all my typing comes up with errors :(
Code: Select all
int i=0;
while(i==0)
{
/* insert processor heavy task here */
}

that's an awesome one rite there el1m - my only suggestion is to incorporate shock absorbers into the frame - maybe rubber grommets where the parts mount in to take the jolts when you put it down - especially for the hard disks... then I'd incorporate a handle into the top or maybe even a removable shoulder strap/harness of some sort, so you can move it around easily.

Best part with this design is, unlike a laptop, its heaps upgradeable.

yeah, a handle was a though. It is actually REALLY big, so a shoulder strap wouldn't be the best idea atm.... its half a meter WxLxH and heavy..

ty for the hdd idea, will try to find some rubber somewhere!

cant wait for water cooling!
