My speakers z5500

1000w peak power 500w sub

i love them, but about DEC last year the control device stopped turning on!!
i called logetec because they was under warranty, they told me they placed a order for them to be shiped to me, but because they have no stock it would take a long time,
and that i should try and take it back to where i got them.. so i did just that, i got them back the next day, all was good :)

but to my surprise Feb this year i got a letter in the mail that i have a package to pick up :S
i had no idea what it is or who its from, it turned out logitec sent me another set!!!

so now i have 2 $600 sets of speakers :P 1 in my room and 1 in the pool/snooker room

I'll have to find the web pages for the speaks and amp I use.

Good idea for a thread.

I got a pair of these Dick Smith speakers off ebay cheap cheap. They sound OK but I did some measurements and tweaked the crossover components and now they sound REALLY good. I even got another pair to do the same tweak to. Gonna lend them to a mate who also dabbles in music as temporary monitors.

Speakers: Wharfedale Diamond Pro series 1 Tuned by Zog (he upgraded the crossovers - he's an audiophile)
Amp: Yamaha RX-500 from the mid 90s when Yamaha were McAwesome
Stands: Omnimount - these are essential to get the right frequencies up around your ears where they count
