Decided to offer my spare Lenovo X61 lappie to new IT dude

Postby [DRuG]NikT on Fri Feb 20, 2009 5:37 pm

OK, so I have a desktop and laptop supplied to me by work - the laptop is an IBM (lenovo) X61, which is great when you're travelling, but I am mostly in the office, with it connected to a big screen.

AAnyway.. so my boss was taking a new projects specialist around today to introduce him to the crew - today was his day to meet me. While looking in awe at my big screen and desks covered in computers, I asked what he had, only to see straight away on the face of my manager that he hadn't been supplied one yet.. so with a few qualifying glanced exchanged, I offered him my X61 (a pretty kick-ass little laptop really - and a great score for someone in his role)..

Naturally, he said yes, so I packed it up and gave him it in it's funky leather IBM exec case.

My manager doubles back as they're about to walk off and says quietly "nice one - I'll get you a new T400".

It's been a good while since I've killed anyone, I kinda miss it. Ya wanna watch?
