OK, this is a bit of a new problem for me - with the subnotebook, normal sized USB dongles start to become a bit large and annoying, especially when, with these little dudes, you really do put em in ya lap and take em out n about... so I have found myself searching for dongles that are only around half a cm longer than the actual connector.
For mouse, I don't like waiting for the pairing process to complete, so the Logitech Nano VX with micro USB dongle fit the bill perfectly...
I know the Asus eeePC 1000 has bluetooth, but you don't get to nominate your stack like if you use usb, allowing for compatability with all OSs etc.. if you pick the right dongle.. this was something I considered before purchasing - I also found the eeePC a little less visually appealing.
So, for bluetooth, I found at Jaycar a XC4892 - $30 with Toshiba stack - just like my main lappie - and my fave - This one has a little blue LED in it n everything..
OK, then you need a memory stick, that you can quickly shove files on when you tell people about them... I have been using the 3M /Imation 4Gb $30 all plastic ones - they're tiny too (the 1gb/4bgb are physically the same except for the number on the label)...
So if anyone knows of other devices in this category, please, show meee.
