AMD 64 3500+ 2.2Ghz
Gigabyte mobo with no integrated gfx, only sound & network - but the NIC runs ok - Marvell Yukon PCI-E Gigabit.
1Gb RAM in 2 banks
ATI X1600GT 256mb pci-e
200gb WD internal sata, 250gb external WD usb2
Logitech G15 keyz, G7 Mouse, USB250 headset, cordless rumblepad 2
Windows XP pro
2 x 20" crt, 2nd screen with KVM via IP (so mouse/keyz move between with shared clipboard/desktop) running...

Intel pIII 1Ghz
Asus mobo with no integrated gfx, sound or network.
1Gb RAM in 2 banks
ATI Radeon 9200SE 128mb agp
140Gb Maxtor eide <- noisy little biatch
Logitech ultraflat darkshine keyz (so I can have on lap for chat on left monitor while in game)
Logitech MX610 mouse coz it had a funky email light [SUSS]
Windows XP pro
This is my 2nd screen & mainly runs the mirc scripts for the mta server, irc, IM's and stuff

Intel Celeron beta 300MHz fanless in HP Vectra VL (you should see the size of the heatsync)
128Mb RAM
3DFX Voodoo 3 3500 TV 64mb agp (this card totally pwnd - R.I.P 3DFX) - running monitorless
100Gb seagate eide
Knoppix/debian hdd transfer running in text mode only, though it does run X quite well.
This is the mta, teamspeak, ftp, linux shell, web (LAMP), SQL and samp server - it runs @ 0.00 load average.. ie. it's hardly utilized, even when under heavy use.
Running linux, with only the psu's fan and hdd's moving occasionally as noise sources, this box is basically silent, and sits in the lounge where we often sleep & you can't hear it.... I wish PCs didn't need so many fans these days.

A wireless router/switch/ADSL2 modem.. Billion 7404vgp, cascading to a 100mbit switch with 2 main PCs, server hangs straight off the router.

An Apple PowerBook G4 1000MHz with 500Mb RAM running OSX.. connected via airport extreme internal wireless - this is Zen's laptop (my girlfriend, but I use it a lot in the lounge and to monitor/admin the server).

At the moment I have a shitty little Acer Laptop.
It's incapable of playing GTA or the Sims.
I have to make do with the laptop specific Sims Life Stories.
I only have around 32gig of storage, with only about 4 left.

*cries*

I laughed when I first read this, showed it to the ubergeek collective at work, but surprisingly got the response - "he's right uno" - they went on to explain that the majority of wear & tear on processors etc is heat... lowering the speed lowers the heat.

LOL I sense a tragic new craze developing.

"I have my machine underclocked to 0.5GHz"

"that's nothin' - I never switch mine on, I just run my thoughts through the circuit diagrams, and kinda emulate the process"
