Just added to my collection of hardware - a subnotebook/UMPC..

Acer AspireOne - Runs GTA3/Vice/San Andreas at 1024x800 with everything on full..
- Dual 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU
- 1Gb RAM
- 100Gb 5400rpm HDD
- Intel on board 945 graphics.
- Windows XP
- Wireless 54Mbit
- 1024x800 display
- 25cmx17cm - tinnnny.

Absolutely loving this thing - weighs under a kilo!!

and nice nik! (lol, thats the only thing i ever say innit?)
my brother just got a 900 series? eeepc. he had a choice of that and an acer one similar to yours, but with a bigger hd. :P

ima gets me one when they bring out the dual core atoms later this year, if i have a job by then. had an interview for a network admin trainee last monday. went well i thinks :D

This thread hasn't been touched on in a while, so seeing as I got my New graphics card, I decided to make a post.

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)

Memory: 1024MB RAM

Hard Drive: Totals 150GB

Video Card: XFX 9500GT 256MB DDR3 xXx PCIE

Monitor: HP vs19e

Sound Card: SoundMAX HD Audio O

Speakers/Headphones: Unknown :(

Keyboard: Logitech Navigator Keyboard

Mouse: Microsoft IntelliMouse(C) Explorer 4.0 USB/PS2 Compatible

Mouse Surface: Microsoft Mouse Surface

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service

Motherboard: P5PL2

Computer Case: Cardboard Box :p

I get an extra 10-20FPS with this card compared to my old 7600GS. :D

MSI 9800GT (not sure if its a gtx, but i'd guess not. ill have a look......... nope, just GT) for around $180.
and lookie here, now they have asus ones for $176. WOO

how much was the 9500gt?

I got the 9500GT for $111, but one day later $99. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

9800GT for $180 seems like a good deal after I checked from where I bought the 9500GT. :)

Ok I thought it's time to revive this thread so here is some new updated specs since last time:

My main PC:

It's great if you have your TV sending to the computer and want to control it very occasionally from the couch.. but there's a lot of devices around like that now - the good thing with it is it's clamshell format, so can just float about on the couch without fear of accidentally pressing keys.
