Whoah, I never knew you could upload that fast on dialup. The ping is also like, massive too.

Pretty certain it doesn't really get that fast. That's faster than my broadband, and it definitely feels slower when I upload pics from dial-up than from broadband.

Well... yeah :|

Good ol' government computers (that lagg when you scroll too fast) :D

EDIT Guess who set every shortcut on the computer to point to a VBS file that attempts to shut the computer down, then stops 1 second before the timer is up, and says "that was scary wasn't it?!"? :ugeek:

Optus PrePaid Wireless (GSM/3G) Broadband, routed from a usb dongle via internet connection sharing to the ethernet port, to the wan port on a wireless router, to my lappie via 54Mbit wireless.

I can play on littlewhiteys mta race at 450 ping, but it tends to peak at 650... luckily they don't seem to boot me - some of the oldskool there, amidst my apology, asserted that it actually wasn't lagging too bad.

I had uTorrent going before, this is the best it gets.

EDIT: WTF can someone explain this? Above is wireless, but plugging in the Ethernet results in this...

Oh yehhhh... iinet naked ADSL2+

:ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

:ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek: :ugeek:

DRuG's new server link @ [DRuG]NikT/[DRuG]Elite's house.

And with the link adjusted to give better performance in games but slightly lower max speed..

iinet offer a slider on their config page where you can change this. I also have the option of adding AnnexM, which would make the upload speed massively faster, but I'm about to move houses AGAIN  so not much point.
