Adding a new MTADM race server for race testing

OK, only criticism I could make, in my opinion, of DRuG's MTA DM Race server is that the maps are a bit beyond oldschool - they're just becoming oold.

So I've started looking around for decent map packs... the alienx servers 7000 maps pack on the mtasa forums should serve well as a start.. I'm using the MTA:Race map updater by arc_ - it allows me to point it at a folder and it will turn all 7000 into 1.0 resources at the press of a button.. considering there's 62Mb of maps in that pack, I'm glad this thing supports batch.

Shortly I will add game monitors for the new server, but at this stage the focus is getting the server's old maps off, port config changed, popups reflecting the new "Race Testing" server name etc.

It should be online in the next hour or so at nikt.ath.cx:22006.

OK, I've just added 318 maps by Mr SelfDestruct... that's his 2 latest map packs from

In my experience, these are some top quality maps, so as well as putting them in the new test server, I've actually also put them straight into the main server as well.

This wont be the procedure with most of the maps I'm testing - the approach will differ according to the material.

In the case to the 7000 map pack, I dumped the lot, as they were named numerically, with all creator/map name data lost... sheesh... just thinking about what kinda douche abandons that sorta data makes me cross.

Hey NikT, Ive made a resource for the race server, Ive only tested it in the map editor, on my pc, on my own, any chance of uploading it to this test server to see whats what with more than one player using it ??

Its a betting script where the players bet against each other.
