I'm never too fussed what I pay for it even when the price is at it's peak... my motivation usually for purchasing it in the first place is to pay homage to the software house that released it, in the hope that they make more games of that type... if I clock a stat for a "unit sold" during the "peak release period" or whatever, I'm kinda happier.

GT5 - dang I wish consoles were built into PCs.

Also playing a lot of WSOP & Zynga Poker on facebook.. if you are too - buddy it up, homeboyy [PARTY]

Just reinstalled Grid from steam & finished all the medals... it rolls the credits at the end when you finish all races.

Handling on it is pretty good, gotta say it was a lot better having retried with my newer, faster system than when I originally checked it out.

Also worthy of note, it pays attention to the way you have the mip mapping set for your graphics card's settings in your drivers, eg. catalyst control centre for ATI etc. - if you have mip mapping set to quality instead of performance, you'll find the decals on the cars are crystal clear - without the tweak, mine were really pixellated.

I'd rate this game almost better than Dirt 2, but really they're pretty much identical in terms of handling etc... mann, actually, I'd almost say it's a tie between those two.

Finished Grid, completed all the challenges with gold medals etc, now playing Test Drive Unlimited 2 - this game is fricking awesome.. it's like a racing mmorpg - single and multiplayer are kinda mingled together, where, during freeroam while you're travelling around buying new clothes, tuning and buying cars, putting stickers on them and seeing the sights of the huge map, the whole time, the traffic is other people from the internet, who can challenge you to races, view your profile, see your level, chat to you, invite you to their club (or you can start your own, which itself can level, giving you bigger mansions etc)... gotta say, this thing is gonna have some longevity.. I highly recommend checking it out.. $40 on Steam.
