Just good to document these observations - SAMP consistently has servers with nearly 100 people in them - you don't see this in MTA.

Is that MTA DM DP? I know MTA race always has players,
I am always in the neo or nir cops and robbers, I like that
game play a lot.

If anyone wants to play, I am going on nir cops and robbers now.

Would be ace to have my DRuG m8's in there with me and pwning
shit together. Plus, they're instant bans for cheaters, so the fun
is never ruined. I'm not sure that we are in cahoots with NIR
can someone fill me in on them? I only heard of them on MTA.

That's because the owners aren't bothered to make any gamemodes. I think people are too much of an SAMP fanboy or the server owners do not want to spend time creating gamemodes for it. My gamemode? Well I'm dedicating more to school lately, and probably won't be finished until the end of next holidays. I want to move people over to MTA...

I've been playing in littlewhiteys' mtasa race a fair bit today, plus some trackmania.

I don't spend much time in nir's server - ironically, I'm kinda sick of derbies.

Keep in mind 2 members of DRuG have contributed to SAMP's development, and as an alternative to just MTA's releases, I think we should all be grateful to them.

Sure I play a bit of MTA, a lot, in fact, since I don't really enjoy fps's, just racing. But that doesn't mean I'm about to shit-can an alternative that has more stuff synched than mta... just not much in the way of race modes or additional object/mapping support.

Jerz - that list is a combination of dm & racemode servers that I consider worthy of joining and within reasonable ping range of Australia.

MTA Race has me by the balls right now though

I like LW's race server, awesome fun. And I'm tired of DD too, but cops and robbers is so addicting, I have rivals too
