Originally there were plans to release this highly anticipated game in October last year. Turns out the developers haven't quite finished the project yet.
Rumors started spreading that it was going to be released some time between February and March this year.
The truth is out, the release date is going to be 29th April 2008 for Brisbane. Not sure about other areas though but good luck.
By the way the cost of it at the release is $119.95 so I'm one of those people that will have the patience until the price goes down.

This was announced long ago on http://www.gta4.net though... it's now in the archives. It is the release date for the entire world.

In our RSS news ticker down the bottom there's both the Rockstar and Rockstar Uncut feeds, where I expect the most up to date information on this front can be obtained, but thanks, [dragon]master.
