MTADM-dp2 replaced with MTA DM 1.0 nightly build

Postby [DRuG]NikT on Fri Aug 07, 2009 5:50 pm

With the new AGS MTADM server coming online, many may not realize that the plan with this is for it to be built regularly as the new snapshots are released, then hosted on the new AGS dedicated Australian GTA server.

These builds are in fact carried out on our MTADM-dp2 server... as such, I have decided to host them locally as well as on AGS, such that we have a "DRuG" and an "AGS" nightly build server.

Note the change only substitutes 1 server, replacing the game monitor for the dp2 server with the new nightly build.

Enjoy!

I've just compiled and installed Nightly Build 1457, finally one where the client is the same number.. it's now replaced with the new number in the new server name - this will be the best place to check what revision we're running (here or from the server name).

Update your client from http://nightly.mtasa.com to 1457 in order to connect.

Enjoy!

Just posted to the main drugcrew.com site...

NikT on http://drugcrew.com wrote:With MTADM 1.0 approaching the final for 1.0 release, [DRuG]Killfrenzy has been working a lot on his FDM server mode specially designed for it. Since it, too, is approaching release, DRuG found a need for a server to test, while AGS, through [DRuG](/[AGS])Mouldy, have sponsored a new dedicated Australian server to host the new MTADM nightly builds and [DRuG]Killfrenzy's mode.

To support this, I will be compiling the nightly builds as they are released, then updating both the AGS and DRuG servers accordingly.

To obtain the latest client and data files required to play, pop over to
http://nightly.mtasa.com.

Enjoy the approach to final folks!

Not sure, I know they're getting close though.
