Cool web sites that are a "good read"

Thought it would be good to have a thread where we recommend sites that are a great read.. particularly of value here are those that are educational, and involve... reading.

My list (will be updated as I think of others that are good value)
http://damninteresting.com - soooo many true & interesting stories - if you talk shit to people, sites like this will help you keep it interesting, at least.
http://wired.com - the guys that started cyber - well, as far as net mags go, anyway - interesting especially in print format because its aimed at a demographic often untargetted - high budget ultra-techno geeks.
http://bbs.keyhole.com/ - This has been around since before google owned google earth, and contains user posted placemarks to interesting places all over the globe.
http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html Astronomy picture of the day, over time, if you read and understand the stories under each picture, will teach you stacks of interesting stuff about the nature of the universe.

If we're all careful about what we suggest in here, this could prove quite the resource of genuinely interesting shite.

Well im Lazy and i know some other people are too, so if you can’t be arsed reading here is a good site for watching some of the latest good ideas and tech http://www.ted.com/ it has tons of interesting videos.
