Lets hope Labour come good on their promise not to let any nuclear power stations go ahead.. we know putting carbon that's been stored away into oil by an ice age only reintroduces the problem, such that another ice age is needed to put it all away again...

It is still not clear what nuclear yellow cake is storing away, and what (and how long) will be required to put it all back to yellow cake again.. but I'm sure anyone with a bit of forward thinking can vibe it aint good.

Personally i didn't really care if liberal or labor won, they are more or less the same. I don't mind nuclear power or IR reform. I just hope Rudd's govt provides better broadband, laptop rebate for uni students not just high school students because most of them don't use laptops anyway, and tax cuts for middle/low income earners, which i fall under. LOL, i'm so selfish.

Anyway IMO Liberal = Labor, in the big scheme of things, but they're both better than the greens

hope not, but not like it will stop people under 21 from drinking, it'll just mean will be more illegal under age drinking. Holding it for one year will do for me.

Anyone have thoughts on the senate? i think liberals still have more seats than labor, but the balance of power will lie in the hands of the greens, family first and some independent. I always think its a good thing when the balance of powers lie in the hands of minor parties, unlike the previous coalition government form 2004 onwards.
