I've been playing more samp and mta these days.
Now that the grip of spore has released me, and I havent got any new xbox 360 games in a while.

diablo 2 still holds me, and probably will for years to come, but at lease i have found more time for the gta side of things again.

With this you would need two instances of your gta install though, so twice the space...i've done it this way though, and it works well.

would it be possible to trick windows into thinking there are two installs, when there is only actually one? like some sort of image'd directory, but you can add files there that are the only physically stored files in the directory? i dunno, im just talking smack.

Flong - the files would be different between both versions, but many of them share the same names/locations in registry, too. It would be a hell of a headache to try and make something that switched all that stuff one way then back, without the risk of it fucking your registry by mishandling the switch for some reason... to a degree, that's what TruScot has achieved.. I'm surprised he got as far as he did, but given the above, I'd say he probably has some pretty good reasons for drawing the line where he has.
