I've just stopped the race_progress_indicator resource after reading it's partially responsible... the speedo also seems to cause random quick pauses in the framerate - I've just disabled them both in the short term but will sort out some replacements I had running on the 1.1 beta server.

I've moved the server onto a vps in a data centre in sydney.. at this stage through rcdarkangel's server, while I await activation of my server through iinet - I applied for it yesterday & am still awaiting the logins.. this will be our permanent solution, with DRuG now having dedicated servage thru the iinet VPS2 plan.

More info when it's activated and I begin the move across to the iinet server.

I've also replaced the speedo_gfx resource (our original speedo, which broke in 1.1) with speedo_gfx1 - an updated version that does work - we're back to the same skin we had with a new needle and damage meter on the speedo - otherwise it looks identical. It is d0c's original resource, just somehow someone edited it & got it running in 1.1 8)

Try emptying your resource cache.

it was already empty, only just now redownloaded the resources from here to see if that would have an effect, no difference. from the MTA forums it sounds like its a bit of a common problem, with no known fix as yet.

i have the same issue as the OP in the following linked thread:

Problem seems to be solved now that the server has a new data center :)
