Can't login with MTA 1.3

1.3 has some major fucking problems, mine always crashes when i disconnect or quit, and the gta_sa.exe process stays for like 5 min till it goes away :S

As for your problem did you check if the proper ports are open?

You open the console and type openports.

Wise words from the demon... sure you haven't accidentally re-enabled Windows Firewall, installed some norton firewall-like program or that someone hasn't upped the security on your router to add firewall?

I think the proper ports are open, and its allowed in firewall........but still the same problem.
but when i start up mta 1.2 and connect to a 1.2 server it has the same problem 2... I don't understand why ???

OK, after reading your comment above you can rule out a problem with MTA as the problem also occurs on other games. Something is blocking internet access to the servers. It's either some software on your pc/laptop or it's your router causing the problem.

1. Reboot your router.

2. Make sure windows firewall is OFF and close any other firewall software that you may have ie Zonealarm, Norton etc.

3. Shut down any antivirus software.

4. Do you use a program called PeerBlock or similar?
I use it when downloading torrents as it lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet.

If I am using Peerblock, I find that I cannot access some websites and can not join some online servers.
Make sure that you don't have any programs like this running on your computer when you want to play online.

5. You need to check all the settings on your router to see if anything is blocking online access to the required ports.
It may be easier to push the RESET button on the router to restore it to its factory default settings.

I installed MTA 1.3 a few days ago with no problems.
but when I try to connect its says "connection timed out"
So I tried an hour later, but again connection timed out.... the next day again....
and when I connect its says "error loading files can't host drugcrew.com "
can somebody help me >?

I updated my drivers and resetted my router, its seems to look good now only a little lagg.
