Docks container lifter - Driveable

Not sure if this has been done before - if not, I just got an awesome idea for a mod.. and I reckon I might drag out the tools and do this one.. if it hasn't been already.

Was browsing gta forums, came across this shot of a really nice looking forklift, but it's the thing above it I wanna work on...

Questions:

1. Does anyone know of a mod to make that big yellow crane driveable?
2. Does anyone have any ideas/the ability to cook up a solution to add one of those lowering magnets or something similar that might serve to make this thing have some function?

You can already drive things like that in SA, you have to use them for some missions. And after the missions you can then drive them whenever you want..

wow.. that would make them even easier to turn into free roaming vehicles, then.. I wonder how far from a normal vehicle they actually are.. hmmm.. this has got me thinking.. would be cool to be able to drive them off the rails.

Yeah, it gets fun driving those things sometimes. What I really want is for someone to get those skycranes working in freeroam, which only appears on a single mission. I found a random screenshot of it:

Back in the day when I was heavily modding all my cars I stumbled across a mod that allowed the hook on the bottom of this. Don't remember where it is though :[

*EDIT*: this little mod is an original main.scm with one new feature added: whenever you enter a Leviathan, Hunter, Maverick, VCN Maverick, Police Maverick, Cargobob or Raindance helicopter, the "skycrane" magnet will be attached to it. i have left out helicopters like the RC helicopters, and the Sparrow and Sea Sparrow.

Yeah that would be fun as to have a skycrane! But it might be a bit hard to script (for MTA)

Back in MTA for Vice, there was a version of the scm compiler that worked with MTA.

Does anyone know if there is one for San Andreas race 1.1.1? (ie. that will decompile & recompile the main.scm used by mtasa race). Assuming that will work, we could add this functionality.

Given I haven't written any modes or maps for mtasa, maybe someone else knows better if there's now a way to add/inject new scm into a game/mode? I heard Cleo is all the rage now, does anyone know anything in this department?
