MTADM 1.0.x Web Ladder v 1.0 - AcidBrain's 'Scores' Based

Postby [DRuG]NikT on Tue Oct 05, 2010 1:27 am

After fiddling about all day today, I've put together a live stats page, then added a control above the live server list block on the board index, such that you can view the ladder arranged by points, with columns of stats including:

  • Ladder Position
  • Name
  • Score
  • Records
  • 1st placings
  • 2nd placings
  • 3rd placings
  • Total Race Time
  • Total Races
  • Last Seen Time

Just click ladder on the board index, in the title bar for the live game server list block.

Click to see the ladder fullscreen.

Available with all dependencies from http://community.mtasa.com/index.php?p=resources&s=details&id=493

You can now sort by all of the colums except the name, and the position.. which would defy logic... my logic at least.

It's now split into separate php files for each column to sort by.. there may be other ways to do it, but I kinda like it this way..

Click to see the ladder fullscreen.

An interesting and useful resource there that I am intending to employ as part of our attempt to revitalise our clan a little.
Out of interest how complex would this be to implement as part of a page as opposed to a complete page in its own right? And would it also be relatively simple to divide the list into pages, perhaps showing 50 per page or something so that it doesn't produce one crazy long list?
I'm afraid php and the like is not an aspect I've as of yet dealt with so don't know the capabilities all that well.

You could include the page inline in another with not too much trouble, but I would suggest an iframe would be a wiser approach, as u could then set a meta-refresh on it to update the stats on display, say, every 60 seconds.

In terms of limiting the results, that's simple, too - each SELECT statement in the php would just need LIMIT 500 or whatever at the end.

Glad you like it.

errr can you tell me how to add what you just said? :S

Also can you please add some features?
Like clicking on a persons name in the ladder and it leading to a page just on that player and in clicking on the toptimes on that page leads to a page diaplaying all the toptimes of that player. Same as in the toptimes page as well.
