Carpark-Mess [Finished]

Hello guys,

currently i am working on a conversion of my famous "Parkhaus-Chaos"-maps (not famous on DRuG but on a german server), as gametaff told me that he likes those maps. Previously i had the problem that my map editor wasnt working. Now with version 1.2 this problem got fixed, but i have to completely rebuild the map.

here is some preview-screenshot. Please note that this maps is currently work in progress, so what you can actually see in this screenshot can be changed in the final version. You see it has some Checkpoints (more will come :geek:

), i've also added 8 spawn points and on the following weeks i will finish the map and then improve the bad things.

maybe this can be added to DRuG server? at the end it will maybe 5 or 6 Carpark-Mess maps, based on how well the map editor works.

yeah, i have done ca. 25 maps. But i cant upload all of them, because i would need to rebuild all again [blush]

This evening i will work again and show you some new screens. Building the interesting parts today.

okay here now some new pictures, i have placed now some funny gimmicks which invite the racer to stop right there and find the funny gimmick or "easter egg". I have to laugh everytime ^^

easter egg #1: The chinese restaurant still "under construction"

easter egg #2: The jump sitting directly on the place where the game says "Juniper Hill" (this was also in the original version of the map)

i just noticed by a first test, that my checkpoints are completely fucked up. Can someone help me setting the CPs? it doesnt work fine for me.

finally i found out why the CPs didnt worked! Now the map is finished with 23 working CPs, the current top time is held by [LL]Purzel with 1:42.64 :lol:

its a short but funny map and you have to find the easter egg #3 (its not listed in this thread). Post a screenshot of the easter egg in this thread when you found it and i will build a second map ^^

Tip: Its an animal behind a sign (sounds easy to find, but you wouldn't imagine how much sings this map has [mrgreen]

tell me how to send the map to you, if you want the map. E-mail or something?

oh and one note: currently the top list shows the name "LS-trenches". Could someone fix it? i saved it under a new name, but it didnt helped.

This time screens show the FINAL version and what you see is what you get.

i like purzel maps because they have Easter Eggs! it makes me laugh, is the only mapper in history to put easter eggs in maps, respect for purzel! :geek:

btw i made 1.40.58 :lol:
