Re: Live CDs

What a coincidence. I happened to be in need of some live CD's to extract some files from a wrecked WinXP machine before formatting. Thank you Nikt :D

Re: Awsum drift handling line

Yep, exactly what happens in MTADM. SAMP just reverts the handling line to its default.. like as if it's hardcoded. (It's in the samp.saa).

Re: I Finally Upgraded My PC...Finally!!!!

Yep, fan speed control is what's needed in that card. Also, like most of us here, I'm not the average Joe and love to tweak with things like that :P If that's 90 degrees celcius, I don't consider that to be normal, cause the temperatures I work with are like 30 - 70 degrees celcius. With CPU's, 45nm...

Re: I Finally Upgraded My PC...Finally!!!!

It overheats because the fan only spins at 24% but needs to spin at least at 50% to stay stable. By the time I discovered the problem, the damage was already done (it got to 130 degrees and I played all the way thru Crysis like that without knowing) Wow.. ATI really needs to put thermal throttling ...

Re: Your PC Specifications [Layem out on the table and Measure]

Rofl Nikt with all that dust.. I had my laptop for like a year now ($1300), and it's still running like it was before.. despite having a few formats. Re: SpeedTest.net - Compare your link to ours

Wow what a score! I like the ping too. And is that also when everyone else is using the net at the same time?

Re: Flock 1.1.1 black browser theme

I assume it was the move from the Firefox 2 engine to the Firefox 3 engine. I'm sure you'd be able to update your theme for the new Flock :P

Re: Your PC Specifications [Layem out on the table and Measure]

An Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86 GHz would be able to handle GTASA easily. One core alone in that is like a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 you know.. not to mention how good it could be when used with the second core. GTASA only uses one core though, and that's plenty enough for GTASA.

Re: Your PC Specifications [Layem out on the table and Measure]

The 9600GT is slightly more expensive than the 8800GS, but is par to par with the 8800GS. The 9600GT wastes less electricity too, so over time it could be worth it :P
