Game Monitor subpage added in Cool Tools

[DRuG]NikT (15 Sep 2007 01:47 pm)
I've just added a subpage to the Cool Tools section that allows you to see what server (out of our regulars) is currently populated, using the player list blocks from game-monitor.com - like those found in the left margin.

It's available within the Cool Tools section or by clicking here.

If you know any other servers DRuG members could (or should) be found on, please email the ip/port to [DRuG]NikT.

NikT granted admin on PHS's MTA server

[DRuG]NikT (11 Sep 2007 09:58 pm)
Having raced with Grim, Dan & the rest of the PHS crew for quite some time now, it's been great over the last week or so getting an opportunity to do so on their own home server.

Tonight I have been granted administrator/Friend Of Server status there.. this should be good news all round... above all, it gives DRuG the ability to keep the 3 main servers with a ping < 250 from Australia honest - DRuG love modders, but we've always hated cheaters.

I have set up a DNS for the PHS mta server, such that it can be easily quickjoined.. potholestudios.ath.cx.

If anyone has issues with cheats on fearedgamers (ALW clan), potholestudios (PHS clan) or the DRuG GTA servers, MSN me at nnnikt@gmail.com - if I'm @ home, I'll get on it.

THANKS PHS smile smile smile smile

New IP for drug servers & SAMP 0.2.2 update

[DRuG]NikT (30 Aug 2007 07:02 pm)
Well, our samp server is now updated, with the release of 0.2.2 & grish's modes are still working.

My IP has also changed, to move away from a hacker that got my subnet bant.

Any issues, let me know.

forums.drugcrew.com registered & online

[DRuG]NikT (15 Aug 2007 09:00 am)
Well it took me a while getting round to it, but I finally sorted the login details for drugcrew.com last night, and registered a sub-domain for our forums. They've been up a month now and seem to have taken off quite well.

DRuG members please stand up and be counted by signing up now @ http://forums.drugcrew.com.

DRuG have an open-door policy with it's members, meaning, they are free to join other clans or stop playing for a while & still remain welcome members... and I know most of you guys are still active, coz I speak to most of you on MSN or IRC... but let's show the world we're all still here by reprazentin' on the forums.

See ya there. smile smile smile

New Dalek style added to drugcrew.com

[DRuG]NikT (04 Aug 2007 01:27 am)
Well, kinda new... I copied co-creator of DRuG, Raider's oldschool, edited the style sheet and changed the images.

It's available in the pull down list on the top right of the site, or by clicking here.

The rest of our themes are linked in the "cool tools" area in the "page style" section, or by clicking here.

Enjoy smile

SAPT: San Andreas Performance Tool (updated)

[DRuG]NikT (02 Aug 2007 01:47 am)
Released a few days ago now on our forums, Slick does it again with an updated version of his PerfTool (now known as SAPT) for GTA San Andreas.

SAPT is a trainer like program allowing you to tweak some important performance related settings whilst running the game. To improve quality of gameplay, particularly on older systems or to help max out on higher end machines.

Two separate versions are included in the update, for single player or multiplayer. The only difference between the two is the 30 fps frame limiter lock being disabled on the multiplayer version. This prevents any speed advantages over regular players without SAPT in MTA... Any attempts on using the single player version on multiplayer mods will most likely result in a kick!

This is intended as a friendly tool to help those with less powerful systems play San Andreas comfortably... please try and share our desires to make GTA better for everyone.

NOTE: SAPT only works with version 1.0 of San Andreas! Some anti-virus/spyware programs may detect the programs hotkeys dll as a keylogger, it is in fact nothing of the sort.
