This mod will re-skin the greasy chopper to say
the [R] bar, add [R] Park and install DRuGDome,
by popular demand with CuddaWorld, and full MTA
0.4.1 scm support.
INSTALLATION
============
First things first - no need to install CuddaWorld
3.3 or 3.4 - it's included as part of this package.
UPGRADING:
Given the volume of new map objects in this
release, a separate upgrade package has been built
for users with version 1.06+ otherwise fresh full
install in a new folder is recommended.

VICE CITY FILES & FOLDERS ARE SET AS READ ONLY.
YOU NEED TO TURN THIS OFF AS BEST AS POSSIBLE!
Heres How:
Untick the "read only" attribute of the main vice
city directory and say "yes" to apply to all files
and subfolders. To do this, you right click the
Vice City directory then click properties, then
down the bottom untick.
Double check! Windows has a bad habit of not doing
this without retrying a few times - sometimes u
even need to reboot, or just rely on doing it
directly to files like gta3.img before you work on
them - sometimes just the files being unticked
directly is enough when the folder wont unset.
MAKE A BACKUP of the ENTIRE VICE DIR & ALL SUBS!
especially:
"[vice city directory]\models\gta3.dir",
"[vice city directory]\models\gta3.img"
"[vice city directory]\data\maps" (& subfolders)
Yes, it's a big directory, but consider the time to
reinstall from CD if things go bad - ~500Mb isn't
much.
Extract my zip somewhere you'll be able to go and find
in windows explorer - you're gonna need to work with
the files in the next step.

You need a default/stock standard gta3.img and you must
make a copy of this file and re-name it zta3.img, and
leave it in the models folder with gta3.img

******************** IMGTOOL ***************************
Install IMG-TOOL from Spooky somewhere -
I've included the executable selfinstaller in the
package you've just extracted - you're gonna need
to work with it in the next step.
Open the GTA3.IMG with IMG-TOOL.
Choose ADD from the commands menu then choose all
files in the directory "UsingIMGTOOL-ADD-these"
from the package (hold Ctrl/Shift to toggle multiple
choose).
Click commands, rebuild archive.
Choose EDIT then FIND from the commands menu then
type stadint.
All going well stadint.col should appear highlighted
in the IMGTool window.
Right click stadint.col and choose DELETE, then choose
add from the same menu. and locate and select the
file stadint.col from the
UsingIMGTOOL-FIND-delete-then-REPLACE-this
zip directory.
Repeat this for bb_exterior.txd and dts_grassbits.txd
One last step in IMGTOOL before you close -
Click commands, rebuild archive.
This stage can take a few goes, thus the importance of
backups. After any failure by you or the program to
follow the steps, restore from the backup gta3.img and
try again - expect about 3 attempts before you get it -
that's what it took me.
If the game freezes on the purple bar, the img file not
being right is a common cause - always good to start
from fresh backup copy and re-add then rebuild then
re-replace then rebuild.
I found in IMGtool my gta3.img had 5 instances of
beachpark added by accident, which allowed me to drive
on it, but it was invisible - I just deleted them all
and added a fresh one.

Copy the contents of the directory
"PasteReplaceContentsToMainViceCityDirectory"
to the main directory where you installed Vice City -
Make sure your MTA install is a subdirectory of the main
Vice City folder (called MTA) - if not, reinstall MTA as
a subfolder of the main vice folder and then repeat this
step.

WHEREZIT?
=========
Spawn as robber and it'll warp you right to groundzero.
[R]Bar is just near the police station downtown, on the
dogleg near the coast opposite the motorbike shop.
[R] Park is accessible via the new road added ramping
up the back of [R] Bar to the park.
The DRuGDome is located centrally in Haiti North,
out at sea, directly opposite where sabre turbo spawns.
There is a warp point over the robber spawn doorway to
the front - this will be resolved next version with more
spawns in wiser places.
Cuddas mod puts ramps all over map - if u don't want them,
just put a # at the start of the line
IPL DATA\MAPS\cuddaworld.IPL
in the file [vice city directory]\data\gta_vc.dat
using notepad or some other text editor.
Odie's beack park is the sandcastle and 1st halfpipe -
I used it as a base to create the rest of DRuGDome.
I also utilized the same fences Cudda uses to make a
path to spawn roof and soon will add ones smoothly
into the purple pit from rpark and also down to the
front of "beachpark".
TROUBLESHOOTING:
==================================
Did you carefully read the above? Note the additional
experiences and troubleshooting at the end of step 2.
Did you make a "rebuild archive" with the IMG-TOOL?
Did you untick read only on the Vice City dir
& all it's subdirectories and files? Perhaps try this
also on the "rockstar games" (parent) folder.
Try checking the gta3.img in the models dir - is read only
unticked in it's properties? It should be if you followed
this readme - perhaps have another go?
Have you replaced your gta-vc.exe with the one from
Cudda World? This is a critical step and seems to always
get missed.
If u get CRC errors launching (this can happen at first or
over time for some reason), try re-replacing MTAClient.exe
from the zip into "[vice city directory]\MTA" - if this
doesn't work, reinstall MTA then replace it again.
